Not comparable. Kulusevski was played in every position over the field, on inconsistent basis.

Zaniolo is playing where he should be strongest. Roma are creating chances but no putting them away.
Not true really, he's naturally an AMC, his second position is RWF. This season since Dybala has come in he has been constantly moved around the pitch, hes even played CF. His normal position this season tho has been LWF which until now he has hardly ever played in his life and is very uncomfortable in. Added to that, Dybala has been taking up the positions Zaniolo likes to operate in. Its completely comparable to Kulu.

Looking at our bench yesterday one can see why we are brining in another attacker, but yeah, if we don't get a centre back this window then its sort of pointless.
Only positive though is that we can switch to 3 5 2 if we get zan and porro in I guess.
That would sure us up a fair bit

Easy player to purchase on the cheap that Conte wants. Levy will see this transfer as backing him. We are screaming out for defensive transfers, though, and we have only been reliably linked to Porro in the press.

Loan with option to buy seems ideal in the current situation. Hope it gets over the line in the next 48 hours so we can focus on more pressing matters!

I swear if we spend money on an attacker but don’t sign a defender I’m going to be ******* fuming.
In fairness, we need all of RW/CAM, 2 CBs, RWB and keeper. At least it's not a player like Trossard that we don't need right now. Our bench has also been appalling at points this season so Zaniolo would definitely strengthen us. If we can get him on loan with an option then that's a perfect deal for us, and allows us to chuck money at the defence.

Lucas out, Zaniolo in on loan is undoubtedly good business so i'm not going to complain.

As I said yesterday, this really is a deal I can see happening. Zaniolo is very keen to join and play under Conte.
Would love to now why this wasn't achievable earlier in the window.

Especially considering the break for the WC. Our stragegy IS STILL lacking under Levy and Paratici IMO.

I think that would help Persic as well. People lay into him but keep forgetting he's not a defender, hes a converted winger. Not that it excuses his awful performance yesterday. But switching to 352 would help him i think. Although we would still need a LCB. Really tho, considering his contract situation, there is no excuse not to bring in Ndicka as well as Zaniolo and Porro.

Because the later we leave it the more desperate Roma might get and more willing to do it for a price Levy likes. I agree tho, should been done by Fulham.
Should have been done already. Not aimed at you, but I'm totally fed up with the excuses being churned out.
