I'll say it here after probably mis posting it in the ITK thread. I think this link is pure guess work from the "journalist" involved. Feels like we are just being relinked because "hey it's Tottenham".

He's awful. Watched a lot of Roma last year and Zaniolo was given a huge role and responsibility in the team. He just didn't deliver. Jose even played him as a secondary striker and changed shape just to get him in and he didn't repay his faith. Wasteful with the ball. Doesn't naturally have an eye for goal. Spends half his time on the floor, arms in the air, appealing for a foul.

Literally, lamela mk II minus the effort and desire.

Pass.
Can't comment on his season as a whole, but Mourinho clearly trusted him enough to start the ECL final, where he scored the winning goal...

But di marzio is the closest journo to paratici. Pretty much his mouth piece. He's only said we enquired though

I see he's a RW, have we passed on Raphinha for this guy?
He is but I think he will end up as an AMC, very different skill set to Raphinha so doubt it would be the case. Personally I can’t really see us going in for him unless we are being offered a deal on him. Both AC Milan and Juve are looking at him also.

Hard pass for me

Raphinha at least provides something a little different

Unless he sees him as a creative CM who can over coke his injury problems, I don’t see it

Please no.

His knees are a mess and he’s overrated too.

Would be a big waste of money and a huge step down from Richarlison or Raphinha.

I don't think there's anything in this

Although as its the one no-one seems to be keen on and he's from Serie A part of me worries it'll happen!

I'd hope Conte has seen enough of our medical team to shy away from players with pre-existing injury issues!

If Di Marzio is saying it was an "enquiry" that leads me to believe that there's nothing in it and that he could be being used as a distraction for why he's in Milan.

Questions would be asked why FP is in Milan and by giving this info it may act as nice little diversion without actually making up a big lie.

I believe if we were serious about Zaniolo, Di Marzio would be reporting that exactly.

Always makes me titter when we are linked with a big money signing and they are frequently deemed overpriced and or not worth it. I remember the days of signing Jason Dozzell, bunjanavic (sp) rasziak (sp). I am living a personal dream world at the moment and thank my lucky stars we are even contemplating these kinds of signings.

Definitely not. Both ACL’s torn and he has muscle fatigue issues and that’s playing Mourinho-ball in Serie A. He’d fall apart playing not just in the Prem but in the Prem for Conte. Only way it makes sense is a loan with option/obligation under certain circumstances. A straight €50mil transfer would be massively ill-advised.

Fabio likes to line up numerous deals for one particular position so makes sense that we're talking about a top young Italian talent in that position.
