Not sure he gives us what we need.
He’d give us a box to box guy who is forward looking, good (or at least progressive minded) passer, will shoot from outside, and loves a late run into the box - all the while being competent in defense. He suffered a broken foot last season and wasn’t particularly sharp this summer with the US team however. With Pogba there, I’m not sure how many minutes he’ll get at Juve.

Edit: I’m speaking of McKennie not Zaniolo

With Juve already signing Pogba and now potentially Zaniolo, could it free up McKennie for a move?
Wouldn’t say we need that kind of midfielder tbh. We need someone more based around pure attacking numbers and creativity in my opinion. Maddison or SMS would be the ideal players, let’s hope we get one of them

Think there was some story zaniolo to juve not happening now. Think juve pulled out but could be wrong

I desperately hope that the last line of that is just standard "lets throw a link here" clickbait bullshit.

There have been multiple stories from the last 24hours saying Zaniolo met with Mourinho and he is set to stay next season. I think we can forget about this one.

Before he injured his Acl he was quite the talent. Being touted as the big future talent of Italy. After the two tears he's done well to be a good player but won't hit the heights that he could have. He's super injury prone on top of that and there is apparently a question of attitude. Def a big no from me, and I'm italian haha.

He seems to be mentioned in a couple of articles today. May just be a case of his agent trying to find him a new club but he does have the physique and technical ability that Conte is looking to rebuild the squad with. There is also a suggestion that he could play as a central midfielder in a three as the more creative one.
He could well be cut out for the premier league and Conte......provided his injuries are no longer an issue.

Can’t see any proper link to it but seen few messages of a tanguy and zaniolo swap…that would be hilarious

Before the injury he was a huge talent. He still is but the injuries have definitely impacted his development. It’d be a huge risk because of the injury history and he still has quite a bit to learn but the ability is there. I don’t think it’d be the right move for him to move to the premier league but if Conte wanted him I could definitely see it work.

There was an episode of Star Trek Next Generation where Picard et al were caught in a time loop and kept repeating events thus ensuring they couldn't get out of the loop.

Eventually they woke up.

That's what I feel about a Zaniolo thread.

Feck no.

Injuries, yes. But never got the hype in the first place.

I've seen more from Kulusevski in half a season than I've seen from Zaniolo every time I've seen him play.

I think he has many attributes that Conte likes. Personally think he'd be a better squad player to have than Lucas. Can play multiple positions and is physically strong. He had one big injury followed by Covid and then many smaller injuries which sometimes tend to occur especially after being out so long. A lot depends on the fee he would go for. Anything between 20-30M it certainly wohld be worth the risk.
