I've always liked Zaniolo so I would be very happy with this, I don't care if it is a risk as it ain't my fuckin' money.

Does anyone have a good comp for another PL player like him? My old man always likes using that as a frame of reference and I can't really think of anyone.

He missed 11 games last season, for seven different reasons - one of which was 'unknown'. If that's not a red flag then I don't know what is.
That's not accurate. He missed 4 in the league and 2 in the conference league. I can see you got your info from transfermarkt but it's incorrect. Look at the games he played on transfermarkt instead.

Also the unknown injury put him out for one game and it doesn't mean its a secret, just transfermarkt doesn't know why he was out.

I have every faith that Paratici and Conte will have done more due diligence on the player than anyone on here has, and that our medical team will ascertain a better understanding of his injury situation than a doctor on YouTube.

If you can’t see he’s exactly the player we need when up against an eleven man defence then you don’t know your football. Leave the fitness, medical stuff and financials for the experts - judge him when on the field.

I could quite easily pass on this guy but as I just have an irrational thirst for new players, bring him in I say. Bring him in today.

Always amuses me when people say this to shut down any conversation. Happens in every thread.

He missed four league games last season through injury. One for his Hip flexor 2 for separate muscle issues and one through illness. This permanently injured tag is bollocks. He's had a long term absence previously due to ACL problems just like Virgil Van Dijk has. I doubt anyone would be shouting don't sign VVD if we put 100mil down on the table due to an injury he had 2 years ago.

It's a concern yes but that would be taken into account.
I’m pretty sure there’s a few who would still moan about signing VVD

In a nutshell...this

I feel he's lost some of the acceleration, and consequently threat, with the extra weight/muscle (I couldn't tell you which) he's gained.

If he can feasibly manage that (many people can't) then there's potentially a really good player there. If not, I would have concerns
Key words: 42 laps...

I'd genuinely be interested to hear your views about how he's exactly what we need to break down a low block.

I've watched him a lot and his strength is carrying the ball forwards. That doesn't really help break a low block.

I'm not saying he won't be good. I hope he is.
