To be honest, if he’s left our u23 and can only get a game in their u23 that surely sets alarm bells ringing, right? No senior minutes yet on loan but it’s been 3 losses on the trot for Charlton. The manager likely will be looking to shake things up, if Nile keeps his head down he should get his chance soon.
Personally, I think it will be fruitful for his development that he’s come in and has had to fight for his spot.
I understand your point entirely, and I’m not going to get in a state because he hasn’t walked straight into the charlton first team immediately. We always give new players plenty of time to settle in but when a young player in loaned in fans seem to expect immediate results.
Hopefully he's just settling in for a few weeks and proving himself in training and for the U23's before he gets game time.
All twelve or abort loanWas on the bench today for the 2-0 loss to Sheffield Wednesday. Charlton have about 12 games remaining in the league and I would hope to see Nile feature in a minimum of 5 of those.
Did he?On the bench today. Hope he gets some minutes
