Andrés Sanchez, former president of Corinthians and still a big cheese, has been quoted by ESPN in Brazil denying that Tottenham Hotspur ever made a bid for Alexandre Pato.

It was intentional due to the heavy traffic hitting the site during the final days of the transfer window. the temporary changes mean the site is more able to cope with the demands of our users and keeps the site running more efficiently.
