Went to see Dulwich Hamlet and had an absolutely brilliant time. Best fun I have had a football game in ages. Certainly will be going back more often.

Anyone else manage to get out to any games for Non-League Day?

That's my local team mate, we are all going next month. Good laugh? Where, if anywhere, do fans drink pre-game?! EDT, Cherry Tree (?) or that slightly dodgy looking park by the Sainsbury's?

Not exactly non-league but I have started going to Dundalk games again. Playing some lovely football, top of the league, in one cup final and in quarters of another and it has been an absolute joy.

Standing with the rowdy section, called the "Shedside" drums banging, original songs and great banter. Transfer the energy of the 3,000 there to 30,000+ at WHL and we would not need the demolition teams in to pull down WHL when the time comes.

Hah I was waiting for someone to say that. I have been following them as long as I have Spurs, since 1981 when the teams played each other in the CWC. I have only recently had the opportunity to go.

Way to kill my buzz dude. ;)

The last (only) time I went to Dundalk was 1982 (I think) v Spurs in the Cup Winners Cup. At half time it kicked off and we were pelted with pieces of assorted masonry. Good fun had by all.

I can't even remember the score, it was either 0-0 or 1-0 spurs.

Yeah it was 81/82 I was only 4/5. Talking to mates of mine who are Spurs fans made the return trip and were subject to much the same including being spat on. Game ended 1-1 (crooks) and 0-0 at WHL.
