I got nothing from that.
And maybe that's the point - the fanbase have been wound-up to the point of toxicity and perhaps is best if all the intensity was taken out of the club for a season.
Let there be no expectations, as after the last few years , what right has anyone to expect anything?
Purge some of the more entitled fans.

But that's all very well, but it is not stress-free in midtable - there are no easy games and there are not many points between the fringes of europe and getting dragged into a relegation scrap.

"What we want is to make our fans proud, to make them enjoy their players, love their players, this is our focus, let's make our fans proud, to create a good atmosphere, help the players throughout the season and every moment," I don't think he could have made a better statement of intent. Fans, players and the club have been at a low point and this statement of intent is certainly makes me more excited for the seasons ahead.

Yeah, let’s purge some fans. What do we need them for? They just get in the way at games, all that singing and supporting and feeling entitled. Fuck them.

I dont get why so many fans are dissapointed with Nuno's appointment. This is typical spurs syndrome thats prevalent within the first eleven; always think they are too good. Too good to bust a nut, too good to make runs, too good to pass the ball, too good for the opposition team, too good to get muds on the back of their shirt and the fans, too good for a manager like Nuno.

This is why we dont win anything, complacency and fantasy, posting pics of Lions on the cusp of a premier league title instead of working hard, harder and harder,

Nuno will get us there, this man means business. I will share this post again two years later, when Nuno lift us the Premier League, without a certain Kane

Aren't you proud?
We had good wins against arsenal, manu, manc, and chelsea in the league cup.
We've scored plenty of goals and some crackers.
Reached a final sadly undermined by Levy.
Finished above the arse.

True - didn't meet the main objective of top4, but it is not a level field. And without the stadium generating funds we can't compete. That's the way it is.
Dissappointing as this was the season we were going to win something. But there were highlights and I feel proud now.

Thats some serious spin on the last 2 seasons under Jose.

Isn't he just trying to manage expectations so rather than come out and say "look we aren't challenging for much but the football will be entertaining" will do for a lot of the fan base.

It is factual though. And there's been a lot of serious spin against mourinho.
I think a lot of fans never saw past his chelsea connection.
But I'm not going to condemn that - I felt the same about george graham.

We may lose a few more games under nuno, but we can be proud that he has not managed any other london club. Perhaps that's what he means.
And if the fanbase is generally happier with that arrangement then that is the most important thing.
