He plays like Perryman, but so far without the shooting bit.
I remember perryman scoring a swerving long range goal against liverpool, but I'm struggling to remember another effort! He generally scampered around, tidied up, organised, but left shooting to others.

I'm coming round to the redknapp way of thinking - either a player has these instincts or they dont. Plus once a player has broken through in the best league in the world and is earning a fortune, what is their incentive to do things differently? Skipp possibly knew 4 or 5 youth players who were brilliant at long range shooting/free kicks, but are out the game now. Skipp's work-rate, robustness, attitude, passing, football intelligence, bravery etc are what set him apart.

Perryman hit a screamer against Southampton (Shilton in goal for them, Clemence for us)
We won 6-1

But he had a decent shot on him if the opportunity arose.
