Freund said Dembele isn't here and should be back 'within the next few weeks'. He also said Ade turned up ill and was sent home to bed. None of the first teamers bar Friedel are here cos of the match yesterday and another one Wednesday. Poor showing really.

Freund definitely said what he said but my guess is that he's just exaggerating. He def said a few weeks though.

I haven't seen any other players here so I don't know if any others came earlier for autographs but they're def not here now. Freund did apologise for their absence but he may have meant just in training?

Livermore and Siggi didn't start yesterday. If Dembele was there, he must've trained for a couple of minutes.

Bale was signing autographs outside the west stand entrance afterwards, so they must've all been somewhere around the Lane, just not training.

Someone said well done to Bale on his newborn and Bale didn't even acknowledge him. Right next to him too. Weird. Good that he was signing though as it looked almost unofficial. Dawson was signing too and he was all smiles as usual.

All in all, training session was a bit boring for the kids but overall, nice day. And I'm pretty sure Chirpy's a paedo.

Dembele was there but only doing light jogging with one of the physio guys , I don't think we'll see him at the weekend.
