People bagging Winks who hasn't been good but more worryingly Lo Celso has been tragic and the main reason we've had no midfield and, pound for pound, by far and away our worst player so far.

Always the risk of turning up with such a random and weak XI, thrown together in a random formation, and it not working out. So far not so good.

Going to miss the second half as I have to go to work, but hopefully will hear that things improve......

i dont think for a second we are going out of this competition, based on one half or even the first leg.

Thank god John is off. Think we’re a bit too excited about him.

Poor attitude today — kept sulking after he gave the ball away.. not exactly what you like to see out of a kid trying to break through

Not a distraction for our fringe players and youth. Could probably earn us about 10 million quid if we get into the groups based on the prize money and ticket/beer sales.
I get that but surely not being in this joke of a comp gives us way more prep time for league fixtures. It’s the only way we compete for top 4 with likes of city, etc.

Yeah Lo Celso has been massively disappointing. Expected a lot more from him.

I just had the thought - it would be great to be able to bring Traore on. That's weird, I thought I was dead set against him.

At one point the commentator said "Doherty is so dangerous in these positions" or something similar. Was such lazy comms and clearly on auto-pilot based on his reputation at Wolves.

I genuinely don't think Doherty has looked dangerous once in his entire Spurs career, beyond the chance he had against Everton on his debut.

Absolutely abysmal almost every single time I've seen him.
My doctor would disagree, you should see what he's done to my blood pressure.

Nobody has stood out in that first half. To many stray passes and negative pass backs and there's no cohesion in the play every attack breaks down very easily. Doherty should be a leader in this side but he just gets worse. Dissapointing so far and I was looking forward to seeing some of our potential future stars but so far nothing impresses.

Based on Nuno's lineup tonight it's only gonna be the fringe and youth players anyway. Should have no impact on our league results at all.

Helping defence by giving the ball away and then diving in for a tackle and leaving us wide open.
Well, Lo Celso has done it, what, at least 3 times this half. I guess he is good because none of his errors have led to a goal for Pacos
