He cost Dier his injury as well with that hospital ballFrankly I think Hugo was poor for both of those goals.

Honestly, the only positive point was Tanganga taking down Zaha when Lucas was on the ground. Rodon also did well overall. Otherwise nothing. Offensively we seem to be worse off than in Mourinho's time and that's scary. I agree that the absences of several starting players were sorely missed, but it is still unacceptable to lose the way we lost and never have given the impression that it would be any result other than this one.I saw a lot of positives today under the circumstances. Bad day at the office - move on.
But the team we put out is not our strongest XI due to a number of reasons: injuries, politics & manager choices. Levy didn’t pick the team today and, even with those missing, it’s unforgivable that we’re losing 3-0.if you think that starting 11 and this squad is up for anything else than pretty poor football and a 7-9th place finish I think it’s a distinct lack of self awareness to be honest. Take a look through the line up again, without Spurs tinted spectacles on and take a look at the subs. Not sure you can make another case if you’re being honest with yourself.
Up there with ‘mind the gap’Spursy.
Who would you have played under the circumstances then? Tanguy wasn't going to start. Rodon wasn't going to start. The only change I may have made was Gil for Winks and have Dele in the midfield three. But that doesn't do anything to help Skipp coming off an injury midweek.
This is a sure bet!Nuno wont last the season, calling it now
anti football… against CRYSTAL PALACE! Absolutely disgraceful stuff, first goal attempt around 50th minute. And Nuno said he was going to make us proud?More cowardly than the Zagreb game & i don't even care if you disagree. Atleast in that game we showed an attacking intent.
This was 90 mins of pure anti football.
I think they all eat chicken ?Because all Portuguese people are exactly the same…….
THIS is my dream. I can't see a way forward for us until Poch either comes back, or (more likely) has a clear and simple opportunity to return and chooses not to.Nuno was always a short term stopgap until Poch was available again IMHO.
Don’t think he’ll make it that far.
Haha what?!I saw a lot of positives today under the circumstances. Bad day at the office - move on.
Nuno just said we controlled the game in the first half ????
are you serious!!???Nuno just said we controlled the game in the first half ????
We struggled to string consecutive passes together, were ultra ultra narrow and so cutting down our options, barely created any chances, and in general showed a severe lack of quality, plan, everything. Not for the first game either, just the difference today was we didn't ever look like scrapping our way to a result because we weren't working hard either.I don't understand that first paragraph. The reason(s) that we were second best throughout is everything you mentioned in the previous sentence, so it's not kiddin ourselves at all.
Are you kidding???The Levy hate in this thread is genuinely so childish.
Levy didn’t choose Nuno, he didn’t choose the team today. He wasn’t responsible for 6 of our first team players being unavailable today.
Hate on him in the transfer window all you like but the team we put out today was still more than capable of winning and not being on the back end of a 3-0 loss.
