I’m going to start the SC betting pool on this being squashed as a rumor at within 45 minutes. Anyone willing to go lower?

Hopefully the wheels blow off this less quickly than Lautaro Martinez, in terms of a complete out of the blue link

Looks like a box to box type midfielder, who can also take a free kick. Also Seen some comparing him to a young pogba. Got to be worth a shot for £10m.

Haven’t seen him play a full game live, but plenty of wyscout footage and watch time. Love the player and potential. As of now, he’s a technical and tough B2B with drive from midfield and a great engine. His build allows him to win many tackles in the midfield, his ball striking from distance is amazing, and very refined on the ball considering his young age. Only 18, and I rate him close to Camavinga’s level. Came from same Senegalese academy as Mane and Ismaila Sarr, obviously two fine players. A top talent who should realistically fight for a starting role considering right now there’s a lack of attacking quality for the final midfield role. Ndombele seems like he won’t play a role this season, Gio hasn’t convinced yet, and I think Sarr could do what Alli is being tasked to do in his role to a higher level due to his consistent technique, ball striking, and ball progression, as well as having more natural defensive ability and instincts.

Just reading some posts about him on the internet.

  • Apparently played for Metz on the weekend and once again demonstarted he should be in the PL.
  • Sarr isnt a sitter he is a box to box with great passing and shot, he has done more than Moriba and was better last season than camavinga. He has great potential however An extra season would be great for him at metz.
  • Agreed. I also rate him higher than Moriba who I don't particularly rate highly.

Not getting excited until we see more reliable reports.

So, like Sissoko except good at soccer?

Anyone feeling happier that suddenly a new thread or an encouragement post of a signing appear?

I know I shouldn't let the club transfer window affect my mood, last night poor performance and quiet activity did dampen my whole of today TBH. But I can't lie that some positive noise like this does cheer me up.

Respectfully mate 90% of us have just learnt that Sarr existed, to be adding this new name Moriba in the mix for us to learn is taking things too fucking far.
