Great goal but assist is also quite good tbh.
He is getting himself in the space and on half turn receives the ball and does a give & go with one player and then does a not so straight forward pass. Made it look easy, taking out 2 players...

He looks instinctively to play forward and looks comfortable on the ball, exactly what we don't have in CM right now.

But you upgrade depth by improving your first 11, relegating current first teamers down to squad players.

Anyway this kid is the real deal going by lots of reports so hopefully it won't be long until he's playing CM for us.

I get that but when you get the chance to improve the depth like this you take it. I'm sure most are sick and tired of Winks and Sissoko, so would have thought another CM would be met with more positivity than this.

Our squad needs strengthening but it doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t be doing these types of deals

You do that when you have the money of City or Chelsea. Our method should be to buy talents and let them grow into first team players. The problem was that we stopped doing this.
