Has it also been a problem in the past of just having a plan A, then when that's fallen through, no squad refreshing... leaving a stagnant and faltering spurs

I get it that Vlahovic will be an expensive signing and a tricky deal for us to do. But there are a load of players in our squad that can be sold in Jan to raise the funds and free up wages. Doch, Sanchez, Winks, Dele, GLS, Tanguy, Bergwijn, Sess and Jack Clarke immediately come to mind. Move these fuckers on and bring in top quality rather than second choice squad players! And we should also be all over any half decent players currently running down their contracts such as Frank Kessie.
