I agree in terms of functional strength, aerial duels, and aggression, but Torres for me has the defensive instincts, fantastic body shape and approach when blocking shots and passes, and his ball playing is up there with the best of the best. Tbh I have no idea why United spent 30+ mil on Lindelof. Even at Benfica, I never really saw anything. At least with Torres he has fantastic traits that outshine the ones where he isn’t as good. Note, I do not like how poor he is in the air, and that is a very serious point for me.

Would say 35 mil would be fair, but Villarreal would ask for more I’m sure. Lacroix would still be my choice, though.
