To be honest I thought that was a bit obvious as it was clear Pav was getting frustrated during his last moments on the pitch. The whole thing got blown way out of proportion by the media and Harry didn't help it. Instead he simply should have said:

'He walked down the tunnel because he was frustrated with his own performance. I understand how he felt, but such actions are disrespectful to his team-mates and myself and I won't stand for it in the future'.

There easy, but instead we had to have the Hollywood way.

Stoke at home, when we won 3-1. He played pretty well that match, poachers goal and a decent assist for defoe's goal. His hold up play and all round game in that match is the standard we expect to see week in and out but have yet to see materialise.

Give him another season and lets see what he can do..

As with Ledley and we took it as genuine. Not because they were told to does'nt mean they don't mean it.
People show their emotions in different ways, I thought he was wrong to do it but its done. Like kendall said its just a shame the fans did not show the same compassion to Ghaly.

Did he refuse to shake Harry's hand when he went past? Thats what one paper wrote but I did not see that when I watched the game
You seem surprised

It's what i've been saying the whole time, players are measured differently. Pathetic but true. To bad that our manager was so unprofessional about it and tried to score some points for himself instead. Sad thing to witness.

I wonder why we never see successful managers like Ferguson, Hiddink, Mourinho act like this. Why do they choose to take these matters in private instead of infront of 36.000 and later in media? Any ideas?

I expected that he would do it, he showed good attitude several times despite that he admitted the difficulties of adapting life in new country.

he is yet to prove his worth, but everyone knows that he started his season with Spartak in Match 2008, played for his country in Euro 2008, then back yp Spartak then moved to us at the start of the season here, it's 12 months without break, he needs a rest for sure.

also, i think it would be better to use him when Bentley and Bale in both flanks, but for sure that's look our 2nd best team now.

Glad to see how well his English has come on this season.
You would think that statement was drafted by a lawyer?

When you're dying from embarrassment, it's natural that you just want to run away and hide. He seems a nice lad though, so I believe he wasn't intending to disrespect the team and the fans.

From a footballing point of view, I would love him to do well, but I'm not sure he will now. Arshavin seemed to adapt immediately unfortunately. Hopefully once Pav has had a rest, he will the player we want him to be.

but Arshavin get a rest at the end of Russian season, for sure AA is better player but Pav was available for Russia, Spartak & us during 12 months.

I thought going straight down the tunnel was disrespectful, but it’s not exactly uncommon for players to do that. It doesn’t make it right but in no way can it be compared to how Ghaly reacted. To have a player take his shirt off, throw it down on the ground and then brush his hands off whilst walking down the tunnel is in a completely different league. What Ghaly did was unforgivable akin to Berbatov refusing to train and play our opening games of the season. ****s!

there are no compare between what Ghaly did & Pav, Ghaly and most of Arabian players are lack of professionalism ( apart from Marocco, Tunis & Algeria as most of those started their life in Holland or France ) , you can see that at Mido and Zaki recently.

but i think Pav reaction is smilar to Keane for Ramos, against Man City in the same time of last year, both were disrespectful - specially Keane despite he is one of my favourite players - but I'm sure both of them meant they aren't giving fair chance by the manager in recent games.

If I had attempted that woeful finish moments before I'd have been pissed at myself as well! I like Pav though, his movement is good and I think him and Defoe will be a good partnership if he stays.

lol, if only Ghaly was afforded such compassion

Just what I was thinking. I appreciate that he didn't throw his shirt on the ground but nevertheless we have very different standards about who we are going to forgive.

I like him too, and I believe he will come good next season. This is based on nothing more than my eternal optimism and a gut feeling :)
