We are delighted to announce the transfer of Ivan Perisic.

The vastly experienced Croatia international will join the Club on 1 July following the expiration of his contract at Internazionale and has agreed a deal that will run until 2024.

Great signing for us, not least because of what Sessegnon will learn from him.

I don't think the mentoring he'll be able to give Sess can be underestimated. We add an experienced winner for a couple of years that can pass on his know how to others. And on a free. And it's May.

God this window is exciting. Last time I can remember making a May signing was Modric?

Fantastic brilliant signing. World class player with incredible experience and has already worked with Conte, can play LWB and the n.o10 roles, AND on a free… AND signed before June!

? 10/10 signing

Can someone describe how/where he plays? Just dont know what to expect. Excuse my ignornace.
Mainly LWB - has a wand of a left foot on him. But is equally able to play as a RWB and cut in on to his left. Will give us plenty of options.

I gained that info from the extensive research / 3 minute youtube montage that I watched earlier. It's worth a watch.

10 goals and 9 assists last season apparently which isn't too shabby at all for a wing back!!

Seems he was wanted by Conte - but he was also on a free so much easier to do the deal. If Conte's desire to sign Bastoni is true then that is a much sterner test of our transfer policy. It is our VVD moment - Klopp wanted him and him only (not someone 'like' him) - Liverpool pushed the boat out financially, will we do the same with Bastoni?

Used to be a left winger but Conte converted him to LWB. Always seemed like a very tough player to me, both mentally and physically. Has adapted brilliantly to LWB and will be a proper assault weapon for us.

I went on Youtube too. Finishing ability defintely seems a cut above what we have.
Only question is whether his physical qualities would measure up. Can't tell from Youtube.

Tough is good especially for PL. Hope he can handle the physicality.

Its hard to just go by youtube, but after watching what sticks out is.....
- 2 footed
- good dribbler
- decent vision and pass
- good shot
- a good header.

Sounds absolutely perfect, looks like he can play left and right wingback, backup to Son and Kulu as well.
