New Hull chairman Adam Pearson has refused to guarantee Brown will still be in charge after their match against Stoke this weekend, so worth paying attention to see how much loyalty their is in that Hull dressing room towards the manager. If they want him to stay they'll have to play out of their skins.

This football blogger writes on the relegation battle Hull are facing, but points out that he feels if Brown had left Hull a month ago he'd have been able to get a decent job, whereas if he gets sacked he'll really struggle. It's an interesting piece that questions whether people should consider managers anything more than a commodity, that can be bought/sold with contract terminations and compensations.

What do we reckon Brown's market value is now? Premiership or is he going to have to get someone else promoted before the footballing world puts faith in him?

If they sack him my faith in humanity is all but lost.

He has got Hull, yes HULL, into the Premiership. And he gets sacked there. That's unbelieveable.

Humanity? These are football club owners. What's humanity got to do with anything?

I think it is exceptionally harsh if he gets fired. Hull have little money and it's hardly the most attractive plac for a player to join. Getting them into the Premiership and keeping them there is a major achievement.

I can't see many Prem teams being interested as he has shown he can manage a team with very little funds or promise and achieve something but his people skills and ability to handle big players is questionable. A job in the Championship and hoping he can do a repeat performance is his best chance.
