Yes it was and no spurs fan in a right mind can defend him.

The stream site I watched kept replaying it as a highlight after the game, it was bad. BAE sloppy of late, the weak link in our defence imo.

Whatever it was if he went over the ball like he said then I'm 100% the ref would have seen it so no retrospective action could be taken I believe

It was still one footed though. Cant see a ban.

Whether it was one foot or two foot it is irrelevant! It was over the top and could have easily broken the lads leg...take off the rose tinted glasses.

Let's hope there is no action. The retrospective bans are usually for nasty personal incidents like elbows and spitting, as opposed to tackles. I haven't seen it yet tho because my stream froze just before it showed the replays.

was a bad challenge - not sure it was deliberate. just thought di santo beat him to the ball and benni block challenge ended low shin.
was not high shin or knee high challenge so i think some on here are a little more over the top in their condemnation than benni was.
Only seen it briefly, so stand to be corrected - but didn't look malicious - tho it was a bad challenge in the end.

Trying to get BAE suspended for the Liverpool game. Was the challenge that bad?
Thommo's reaction was poor - nowhere near as bad or deliberate as G johnson. not pre-meditated like lescott.
Thommo's jealousy of spurs getting the better of him....

It was a poor challenge but there was no intent.

A pretty stupid way to go into a challenge though.

Rose played LB at Anfield last season and played brilliantly.

He did, but would you put good money on a repeat? He's looked very ropey this season.

Typical Big Nose though - anything to assist or defend the Scousers. I do remember him being quite critical of Johnson's tackle but no mention of it on soccer special tonight. Shame Stelling wasn't the anchor, he'd have pulled him up on that

To be fair, I didn't think much of it at first viewing. After they showed a replay from a certain angle, despite there being no intent, it was awful. Di Santo was lucky he was able to hobble off, could have been a lot worse - studs into the shin of his standing leg. I said to my mate after seeing it that it could easily have been red.
