We can confirm that Hugo Lloris will depart the Club on a permanent transfer to MLS side Los Angeles FC.

One of our greatest servants, seventh on our all-time appearance list with 447 in all competitions, captain for nine years, Hugo will end an 11-year association with us for a new adventure in America.

Signed from Lyon on 31 August, 2012, Hugo was 25 at the time, had 38 caps to his name for France and faced competition from Brad Friedel and Carlo Cudicini. He eventually secured the number one spot in November, 2012, and never looked back.

LAFC just posted their transfer reveal.

I will update this thread sporodically with how he's doing since I go to all the LAFC matches, Hoping he can help keep us decent because its looking like a serious rebuild year for the black and gold.

Lovely send off from the club.

He has done so much and is a huge part of our history. I really hope hope he gets a bit more success in his career before he come back to us and does speeches at dinners.

Never forget the walter tull memorial cup.

Good luck Hugo!
I was right behind his penalty save from Aguero in the CL quarter final - what a moment that was - one of his best as a Spurs player - the one I enjoyed the most anyway - a great player and servant to the club

I had a football chubby for him long before he signed for us. Never imagined he would and when he did never imagined he'd be a mainstay for a decade and become a club legend.

We had one of the greats plying his trade with us and it still seems surreal to think about it even though I watched it from start to finish.

Bon chance, Hugo.

Legend.

Thanks brother, I appreciate the offer, and will PM you when I have the time to get back there. 🙏

Thanks for your heroics Hugo💙💙💙 Best I have seen since big Pat. You deserved to win cups with us. It’s a shame that Poch and Levy weren’t brave in the finals😔

Hey everyone, at the Lafc match today, here’s some of the Hugo we love. First time I get to see him live and in person, means a lot

Meanwhile Hugo's 2nd MLS match has snow, sleet, an orange ball, and 30 to 40 mph winds.
