The Club can confirm the departures of Louis Saha, Ben Alnwick, Oscar Jansson, Kudus Oyenuga, Mirko Ranieri and Jesse Waller Lassen following the conclusion of their contracts along with Academy players Paul McBride, Lee Angol, Ronnie Hawkins, Ramil Sheriff and James Yeboah.
We wish them all the best for the future.
Cameron Lancaster and Ryan Fredericks, who both made their First Team debuts last season, have signed new contracts until 2014, while Scotland Under-21 goalkeeper Jordan Archer has signed a new contract until 2013.
First Year professional contracts have been awarded to Jack Barthram, Jonathan Miles, Jack Munns and Kevin Stewart, while William Ekong has been awarded a Third Year Scholarship.

Always thought Kudus Oyenuga was doing well with the academy. Always saw his name in the reports

Would be good to hear what they intend to do with Cudicini, Gomes and King who all were supposedly out of contract in the summer

I presume the keepers have been given new deals, otherwise they would have been gone by now.

With King I guess we have to wait and see if he can prove his fitness between now and August 31st when we have to finalise our 25 man squad.

Shame about Oscar Jansson he was spoken highly of when we first got him. If I remember correctly

Yup, Chris has your badge waiting to be presented !

(Jon, seriously - good early work. But after that it became public from Premier League documents so why Spurs OS are so far behind, god knows ?!)

So that you (and others) know I get early access to a number of Premier League and FA documents because of the footballsquads website. So I suppose in some respects I am ITK (although would never consider myself so)!

Please take it as a compliment that you are able to give us info a month before the OS - ITK or not !

Ranieri too, was supposed to be highly thought of, I'm sure. Was it Jansson who has come out and warned other youth imports to think seriously about signing for an English club at such an early age?

Always a little sad to see when a lot of these young lads get released. Must be a pretty crappy day for a lot of these players.
