Another solid performance from him, including a goal saving touch first half. He has deputised well in VDV's absence and in an unnatural position. Deserves respect does Ben.

Nearly a decade at the club and the pace he showed getting back to deny Isak was immense. He has adapted well especially as VDV’s role is a huge one to fill. Solid performance from steady Ben today.

One of his best performances in years.

Without his interception at 0-0, we could be looking at another disappointing result.

On top of that, some of his forward passes from the left side playing the ball inside were lovely.

Top professional and a good performance today. Very important touch at 0-0 that could have made it a very different game.

Great shift from Ben today. That touch almost on his own goal line to deny Newcastle a certain goal was brilliant. Good recovery pace too.

Played well today albeit against a really blunt Newcastle attack however his intervention in the first half was class.

He has his limitations but he is the consummate professional and deservedly still has a role in this squad.
