My son and I were discussing before the game last night that it would be difficult to justify dropping him for van de Ven but you would wouldn’t you - Ben has been superb though
You can't just casually mention your son without also telling us his age mate.My son and I were discussing before the game last night that it would be difficult to justify dropping him for van de Ven but you would wouldn’t you - Ben has been superb though
We've missed Romero way more than van de Ven. Without that pace in this system Davies has to be so switched on and he has been so massive credit to him.Davies has been exceptional for the last 10 or so games. reliable and resilient
And whether he is crying...You can't just casually mention your son without also telling us his age mate.
We had to sacrifice Gentle Ben to the hamstring gods for Mickey....Ben is such a nice guy his hamstrings lasted exactly as long was needed for VDV to be back, to save Ange having to make a tough decision.
that last sentence is a fantasy I could get behind. It's a totally different type of conditioning to what we were doing so no surprise there. This is one of the problems with changing football philosophy. I wonder if the issue would have been so bad if we got Ange after Poch.
4-5 weeksHas there been any news as to the possible severity of the hammy pull?
Where did you see that?4-5 weeks
Source?4-5 weeks
good question. haven’t heard a thing about a timeframe.Where did you see that?
In what way is it different. I know they seem to run a lot more but they have always been runnimg in some form or another. Could he not have learnt from his previous teams problems and adapted the training somewhat .It's a totally different type of conditioning to what we were doing so no surprise there. A couple of ways. They are running back to recover over longs distances and they're having to consistently turn. It's just different conditioning to sitting back and pressing out short distances. In what way is it different. It’s weird that Ange’s CB’s at previous clubs didn’t really have this hamstring issue, PL more intense and fast paced and end to end I suppose. Our style of play demands a lot from the players. This will keep happening imo.
And we're lucky we don't have midweek european games, or this would be a lot worse
Different because far more longer explosive sprints than under Conte and more pressing so more fast short bursts. In what way is it different. I saw him in Hampstead ! he said “a month or so “.Source?
