HAs to wake up and be alive for that squared pass from Kulu at the end there! Feel he will come good.

How can you not see how good this guy will be? He absolutely power housed past his man today with ease and put some really good low cut back crosses in. He was totally wasted on the right as everything was happening on the left, but he certainly reminds me of a young Gareth bale with his pace and strength. Give him one or two seasons, and he will be one of the first names on the sheet.

I dont know what people are watching but I think he has looked very dangerous every time he has played. Almost always involved in chances and soon one will come off.

I don’t think he’s ever going to be a “tricky winger” but his pace is most certainly a threat. In general tho I think it’s far too soon to judge him, he’s only 22 and just joined us. Think he will be a good addition to the squad once he’s fully adapted and built up his confidence.

This guy is average.
Only 22, new team, injuries halted his momentum, has been impressive everytime he’s played imo, was excellent away to Arsenal and against Chelsea before he had to come off because of the 10 and then 9 men.

Scored vs Wolves and then was decent today.

Very happy with the signing and far from our problems currently and not sure why you’re saying he’s ‘average’ but each to their own.

I feel we have higher chances of scoring from him than Kulu TBH. Not sure how some are not seeing the good he brings.

Blimey, give the lad a chance.
We've hardly seem him play, let alone settle into the team and learn about his team mates.
He's coming into a disrupted team and a disrupted squad, which can't be easy for a young lad.
I didn't see today's game but as soon as I heard that Rodders went off injured, it was obvious we were going to struggle.

I think it's harsh to judge BJ just yet, especially with the state of our injuries/suspensions.

Does anyone have a replay of the offside goal for Son, he should have shot but he passed it to Son

Agree. His pace and acceleration is a massive weapon for sure and that direct run he did against Digne was a bit like Bale.

He gets in dangerous positions and his pace opens up space for us as a team. He was extremely unlucky not to score when he dragged that ball from under his feet and then flicked it at the keeper. He did so well there. He’s getting in to goalscoring positions which is great

We still need a 1 on 1 specialist for the wide positions but Johnson gives us more than I anticipated when we were first linked. I think Ange can coach him in to a very good goalscoring wide player who uses his pace to exploit teams. He could also potentially cover centrally at times I think.

Being able to play 2 from a mix of Johnson, Deki and a couple of new 1v1 specialists would give us a superb mix of attacking options out wide I think.

It's not harsh, it's just plain stupid. He's just settling in and finding his feet. Once the understanding kicks in he'll start impressing a lot more.
