Honestly bud i really hope your spot on with this. I can certainly see that logic. As said, I really want to be wrongYou're knowledgeable for sure, and I respect your opinion.
I think the lad has talent and pace, even though I've not been blown away when watching him.
But with better players around him, better coaching and a move that would inspire I'm hoping he'd be a good fit.
That’s the market though I’m afraid. We paid £40 million for Porro let’s not forget.
for me at least Tosin, Gallagher and Johnson in to call this a good window. 100% won't happen thoughIt’s a guessing game as to if this or any other business gets done.
Based on history it won’t and we won’t sign anyone as it’s too late and deals will collapse and we will all be very frustrated but not surprised.
However the plan from the outside has seemed that we sign 4-5 key players knowing Kane will likely go. Then we focus on selling a good 6-7 players not in Ange’s plans then last 2 days of the window we try to sign an attacking player E.g. Johnson and perhaps a CB and/or CM based on outgoings.
If we get minimum CB & AM/ST then we can say we’ve had a reasonable window and have carried out some sort of ‘plan’.
This summer has/had felt different and more organised but today and tomorrow will ultimately define if the overall window has been a success or not.
Could free our path to BJ though?
What's the relevance?
This is done on purpose to avoid spending money. ENIC corrupt as per recent news no smoke without fire 100million in pocket fuck off Ange just like the rest of them before.I ask this every fucking window.
Why are we waisting time on deals when we're miles away in valuation...
If preliminary negotiations suggest the bridge is too far to reach agreement, move on.
Why do we keep doing this over and over again.
Transfer chicken, it rarely fucking works Levy.
I said in the ITK thread yesterday that we use the deadline for leverage to see if we can squeeze the most favourable terms.
Come one be fair here. We got Maddison down to 40m, we got money off Kulusevski. It clearly does work but it also is very frustrating and will fail at times. This is what Levy loves to do, make them sweat on cost as the clock counts down. It will either come off and we get him for around 45m all in or fall through with no time for an alternative. It's just not an approach you would expect from a top team. Maybe on some deals but not so often and not when you really need to get players in. This would be a perfectly fine situation if this was just a bonus signing. Levy just need to learn to bite the bullet more at times of need. Then negotiate for others.I ask this every fucking window.

Forest “wanting” anything will always be seen as leverage by COYS Daniel… dangerous game, surely he knows that failing to bring in an attacker will be met with a lot of anger, mostly directed very personally at him.forest wants the deal done spurs are pissing around it atm .
Possibly but we may still have got the deal done at the right price. Clearly the negotiation process works sometimes and not others. If Madison had two years remaining it'd be going to deadline day as well mate.
I really don't think Levy cares what anyone thinks. He is stubborn and will take the heat if he brings no one else in. It's been the same story since he took over, he doesn't care because his end goal is a sale.Forest “wanting” anything will always be seen as leverage by COYS Daniel… dangerous game, surely he knows that failing to bring in an attacker will be met with a lot of anger, mostly directed very personally at him.

Just look how Raya backfired for Brentford because they had a much higher figure in mind early and then Arsenal got him on a cheap loan.
With Johnson I think we're relying heavily on their FFP situation and that's why we're leaving it to run so late. If it works it's genius but that's a big if.
