He was a difference maker for sure. Again showing his quality. He's not the complete player yet, and no way we should expect him to be. But he has so many good qualities about him - hard-worker, good technical skill, good reading of the game, great character and determination, pace, and always looking to make something happen. He's becoming a bums off seats player for me

Johnson get's it because he won us the game. Although I rate him I've been critical of his effort and braveness, not doing the hard things but today he did and that could be the making of him more than the winners he's scored recently. Great contribution.

His work rate stood out above anything today. A lot better in that regard. His assist was all about determination and then dangerous ball across when most would try pull it back to someone.

Great high pressing to win the ball back and then had the dribbling & cool head to put it on a plate for Timo, exactly what you want to see from a sub and it turned the game around

Think he's better off the bench against tired legs.

But massive credit for him coming on and having an impact.

Changed the game for us when he comes on in my opinion. Think he's a really good option against tiring legs. I believe he's on 9 G/A now. Not bad going for the boy

You can see that his fitness and willingness to press and close down players is definitely improving.

I'm sure the coaches will praise him for that side of his performance. More to come from him.

Game changing performance. He's raw and not quite there yet, but he has a lot of potential.

Think it's important we support. We all know he has a bad patch, but his confidence is growing now.

Definitely looks more comfortable coming on as a sub . Especially when we are chasing games .

his long term goal though has to be a starting player he’s young . Very quick and has the habit of getting into really good positions.

as a team though we need to play to his strengths, not start games slowly and get the ball wide early so he can run at his fullback .

Who’d have thought that he would start to turn out to be a decent player for us

Considering up to now he hasn't even been THAT bad any way, I think a few here would say so.

Even when deemed poor by the majority he was contributing to goals.

Absolutely, I said at the beginning of the season that having seen him for a full season whilst at Lincoln he had that star quality and that he needed time. Watch him go next season!

He's good off the bench but Kulusevski isn't doing enough to start. If Johnson can match his work he could be a starter given his goal involvement.

Showed a tenacity today that been wanting to see all season. At the moment he’s an impact player off the bench and not a starter, but he has all the traits of can consistently put them together

Much, much better at tracking back today. There was a moment before the 3-1 that he worked his socks off to get in a position to block their RB's cross, which made him delay, which led to us sniffing out the danger. It really is the little things.

Great end product today too.

Only just noticed that he was the one that put Son through yesterday so it was actually two assists for him.

Not writing him off. Nowhere near.

But he's as soft as a feather when it comes to challenges and 50/50s. Needs to be braver on and off the ball.

Couple of times he had chances to make a pass or a shot, or put their defender on the back foot with a tackle and didn't.
Starting to really show that aggressive side to his game, great work for the first and third goals putting his foot in without fear. A couple of weeks ago he might have avoided the second challenge for the first goal.

Well done Brennan. Game changing performance again.
