Good loan for CCV with Swansea selling their CB pair from last season I’d assume he will be first choice and get plenty of games?

CCV went 90 for the US last night in a 1-1 draw v. Peru.

I saw about half the game, and thought CCV looked good - composed.

Yedlin was largely to blame for the late goal conceded by the US, though CCV made a valiant effort to keep the shot out.

CCV may not have a place here - but he'll make it in the PL somewhere.

Good luck to him. Think he needs to think about a permanent move now. He's not getting ahead of Foyth or Sanchez for games here, never mind Toby and Jan.

Some good news for CCV - did not start, but came on at 21' and helped the Swans keep a clean sheet against 3rd place Sheffield United.

I don't know how serious the injury was to Rodon, so I don't know if this will open up more playing time for CCV. But, good to see him take advantage of the opportunity.

According to some post in his loanwatch thread he may be about to be recalled to be sent back to Ipswich.

I’d imagine he will almost certainly be sold. With Foyth stepping up Dier as 5th choice and Davies showing he can do a competent job as 6th choice.

broken metatarsal apparently so ccv should get a run of games now. looking at their forum their fans seem to be pretty happy with ccv so it's not as though he hasn't been doing well, it's just that he joined a side that already had a settled cb partnership.

Totally forgot about this guy - some good positive comments in that planetswans thread, hopefully a future for him even if not with us.

Started again as they trounce Brentford in the cup today (6 straight games, he’s played 14 of their last 17). “Impressive showing from the centre-back who was a rock in defence as the visitors caused all sorts of problems in the first half.”

Been lucky enough to catch a few of his games recently upped his level and with swans turnaround in form

His team mates call him the fridge (always cool and calm and a unit to move)

He won’t make it at our level but will carve out a career at championship lower prem level.

Will end up at somebody like West Ham

Please not West Ham. I hate it when our boys end up there.

Good to hear he's doing well. Sadly too slow and not good enough on the ball for a top side.

More money in the transfer kitty though.
