Because a decent fucking right back became fucking available for a fucking good fucking price and the current fucking right back options are clearly not fucking suited to the fucking system (or any system in Dohertys case)

Right back was one of our biggest problem positions last season

Because one isn't a natural RB with injury problems, one is leaving within the next 12 months and one is Doherty who seems as though nobody wants him playing ever.

So why do you think we bought an attacking fullback who is in his early 20s? ??‍

yeah, we definitely needed a good RB. we only have 1 in the squad, now we have 2. doherty isn’t a footballer and serge is too inconsistent to be a top footballer.

Where were you when we were screaming for a good RB last year ?
Tanganga is make shift and is not no1. RB been the issue since days of Walker. So, signing a RB is a must for this window. From what little I know of him, he certainly seems that player.

In the XI, RB was the position to improve - which we have done now.
Striker position is more of a squad thing given we already have the best striker possible for the XI

Love this signing. Last summer we were all whinging about needing an RB and how we never replaced Walker and ended up with Doherty who is terrible. We were no further ahead this year other than finding out that Tanganga can do a job, but now we’re set going forward and covered if Japhet misses time.
