I think everyone agrees that you need a GK to try to palm the ball away from goal but the bigger issue must be how Jimenez can get an almost unchallenged header when you have 3 CBs around him, or how a Wolves player can have all the time in the world in the edge of the Spurs box to get a shot away that leads to the goal. And while he did palm that away far too centrally it was still a fair way goal and should expect, again, a bit of help from the 3 CBs or the two midfielders.

Fair play Forster has been good today, he was so bad at Leicester but definitely a good enough back up.

Some top saves today and he has great presence. Should do better though for the goal really, need to get those if you're going to come for them. He has done well though of late and does some things better than Lloris including penalty saves.

I feel the majority of the criticism from that day wasn't really warranted. A lot of goalkeepers would have been beaten by those shots - Leicester players perfectly found the corners. Not saying he couldn't have done more to get across/down, but our defence was an abomination that afternoon.

Ye, he should have done better for the goal. But overall, I feel like he has done very well so far. I love Lloris and he has done great things for us, but I wouldn't mind if Forster was our first choice for the rest of the season (even when Lloris is back).

Getting into it now, good game, if coming for a cross, you gotta get the ball though, he’ll beat himself up about that though, redeemed woth the pen and a few decent saves

How much better has our build up play been with him in goal? Honestly, Hugo is the better GK but Forster might keep him out with how much he gives us from the build up.

Even if he'd stood his ground it was still a good chance and there's no guarantee he'd have stopped it.

I'm not at all concerned with him being in goal after his last few games.

Forster has consistently been one of our better players. Today he was brilliant when called in to action. The header and penalty saves were top class. We should be keeping him around

Ye, I agree. And if he stood on the line and they scored he would have been blamed for it. So its better to try and go for it. Things like that happens to every goalkeeper from time to time.

Played well today and I’m less nervous when we are knocking it around with him and the back 3.

Very solid if not spectacular which is I think what you hope for from the number 2 keeper.

Have to say been really impressed with the way he plays with his feet

You can see the defenders are comfortable playing in front of him.

Says it all.

Had no idea he was as good with his feet as he is. Left foot or right foot he seems so calm and picks out a man. Impressed so far.

He's been one of the least of my worries since Lloris has been out. I feel comfortable seeing him between the sticks. He comes across as calm, mature and confident. None of that jittery energy of Lloris. He's comfortable with the ball at his feet and decent with his distribution.

If he doesn't become first choice going forward, then we should definitely keep him on as second choice. We'll be hard pressed getting a better backup.

It’s a confidence position, he’s only going to get better the more he plays. I’m not sure we will see Hugo again apart from, perhaps, a farewell last game. Depends how much longer he is injured for, but Big Frase is doing his reputation no harm with saves like the reflex one today and the pen save.

I’d prefer him to stay in goal when Lloris is back. He’s such a presence and can actually kick a ball further than the half way line. Pretty sure in all the games I’ve watched he’s not actually shanked it out for a throw in 😂
