Using your house buying analogy, if your house was on the market for £600k and I offered you £350k + an extra £50k if I manage to bang Cameron Diaz in the attic room would you be inclined to sell it to me?

Do the police know you’ve kidnapped Cameron Diaz?

A fair argument but you haven't included the fact (ITK) that we actually came to an agreement twice, but on both occasions Betis reneged on the agreement resulting in our club taking this stance.

But sorry, that fact (sic) just make no logical sense whatsoever.
Betis are prepared to make a deal, everything from their end says we have got nowhere near to their valuation (until possibly this week)
Would not be surprised if it was either club-leaked info, or just as likely, agent related misunderstandng, but I am absolutely of the opinion that no agreement was ever in place.
We certainly wouldn't go back twice more with increased offers, if we thought a deal had already been made and the Terms of Agreement accepted.

Sure, a fair price. What is a fair price for Lo Celso though? Is it the €75m Betis are reportedly after? I'd say not.

It if it was £55m with the rest in add ons I don’t think you’d have many complaints. As long as the add ons weren’t stupidly easy to achieve.

Well of course everything from their end days that, Betis aren’t exactly going to leak ‘we’ve accepted two bids and changed our mind both times’ are they now? And if this is the play Pochettino has told Levy ‘I need this guy and nobody else’, of course he’s going to keep negotiating. In fact, Levy is probably the last person to get overly emotional about his counterpart moving the goalposts as he basically wrote the book on it. Just ask Alex Ferguson, Aulas, Monchi, and many others over the years.

I’m suspended from coys at the moment so can’t check, but I think AY gets his info from Lewis who visits his restaurant occasionally

If Levy gets this done at 55 million, like valenciayid said we need to show appreciation on opening match day, I say we all shave our heads in appreciation.

Hey not fair if you are already bald.
