Is there a compilation of his greatest gaffs and goals conceded? Like, show me the ones he didn't save that he maybe should've. I think that would be at least as informative as a highlight reel of his best saves.

Is it really though? Ederson made a load of errors last season, for a spell in the CL final he seemed single handedly aiming to ruin it for them. Yet he’s one of the best GKs in the world.
YouTube is an absolutely garbage way of judging a footballer, if you’ve not seen a player play fans will just have to trust the scouts and analysts until they see them with their own eyes.

Of course - highlight reels of any nature are very limited. But its all I have right now, so also seeing what kinds of errors he makes would at least give a more complete picture than only his best moments. I still wouldn't draw any definite conclusions from it, but seeing something is better than seeing nothing.

Given that Inter considered replacing Onana with Vicario I was curious to see how he compared to our prospective new signing but he doesn't seem to be on this list.
He's on the full table just too far down... Onana let's in more than expected Vs vicario. He's the link and the screenshot starting close to where the last I posted stopped.

I'd never heard of this guy before yesterday so have no idea of he's good or not.

If we're going with a second choice at least we're being decisive and doing it early. Levy would usually try haggling unsuccessfully with Brentford for months and we'd be desperately scrambling around for a different player in the last week of the window.

No problem fella it’s pronounced Vic 👍
Sorry, this isn't right and I get really upset when people do this.

His surname is Vic. His first name is Big.
Thanks for your time.

Goolie-Elmo. Just put a bit of a fake Italian accent on it. I suppose that makes his nickname Goalie-Elmo. We all love Elmo.

This is an astute signing. To have one of the best GKs from Serie A signed before July in a priority area is just so un-Spursy. What the fuck is going on?

I think the club and plenty of the fans underestimated how good a player KW was, I knew it was mistake to sell him. Plenty thought his legs would go, to many mistakes that it was god business selling for 50 and getting SA for 25.
Anyway I would ratrher Levy go but we are appaerently trying to adopt a an approcah with more data and analaytics, never going to know if its working unless we adopt and buy the players. Also not convinced Reya is better by a fee 2x that of GV.
Our biggest issue was more to do with changing formations. That's where a goalkeeper is not going to suffer. The difference with right back was we got rid of Trippier who couldn't do the Walker role for Poch, then went to a back 4 where Trippier would have done great but had Aurier who is more attacking. Then we got Emerson and went to wing backs when he would have been suited to right back. Now we have Porro and Spence but will likely go back 4. Absolutely Walker was great but the others have suffered from managerial changes resulting in different systems. With the keeper there's really two constants to look for, can he command the box as its a physical league and can he play out from the back. Regardless of the system I think those boxes need to be checked.

Indeed. You can throw all the YT clips and stats at it that you want but for me I won't be looking to evaluate him, until I watch him a number of times at least. I have no idea how he's been asked to play and who he's had in front of him so how could I put those stats and clips into any sort of context. He's the one Gabbanini has identified and if we can't trust him then what's the point of him even being there at all.

I'd much rather the chief scout picked the players than the sodding board.
Couldn’t possibly agree more to this - spot on!

English translation of his name is William Vicar. Billy Vic for short.

I’m pleased it looks like he’s ours. Wasn’t really fussed about Raya. Just need a couple of decent CBs in front of him…
