On a side note I’d love Salah at spurs up top with Kane, dribble dribble...

Although we do have Son who plays similar position but Salah is quality...

I hope Harry goes on one of his scoring runs to secure the golden boot, Salah has been magnificent but the dippers will become even more insufferable(yeah I know that sounds impossible) and I want Harry to grab his hat trick of golden boots.

On another note, sometimes I wish we could play harry just behind another striker in a hybrid 442 or something so he could get on the ball more. Just musing.

Young Owen was a phenomenon though, despite the very weird fact that he never once scored 20 league goals in a season.
Yep an amazing stat really, but he still got one every other game for Liverpool and England. Such a great player, and just like Lineker should have broken the goal scoring record for England. I loved him tearing Arsenal a new one at Wembley. We had so much talent on the English team back then. Owen was keeping the likes of Sheringham, Cole, Fowler, Sutton, Ferdinand, Collymore, Phillips etc out through his years

These days England are so lucky to have Kane because their other striking options are truly woeful. Although that description is also befitting of plenty of other positions in that team - they entirely lack a good option in goal, or a more creative midfielder to partner Dier or Henderson. To the extent that Championship goalies have been making the squads, and Jack Wheelchair is still considered a possibility to start at the World Cup.

Harry doesn't seem quite at his sharpest atm imo. Away to Palace, missed a few he wouldn't normally, didn't have his shooting boots on against Huddersfield, again, that late header aside, not very involved against Juve at home. I'm wondering if he's carrying a knock, but he keeps playing as he's our talisman.......

Bet he's absolutely fuming that he didn't score or find a way to score the other night. Despite him at times carrying us in past he's that type of player/person, many would blame anyone and everything, he holds himself to account and it's why he's so damn good.

He's 12/1 to score a hattrick against Bournemouth.

I don't understand the logic here. I love Harry, but if he's worth as much as the media claim he is, surely he should be held somewhat responsible for not stepping up and pushing us through against Juventus. That's what the very best players are often judged on, no? Even the likes of Messi and Ronaldo take the majority of the blame when results don't go their way. I'm in no way blaming him, but logic dictates that if the media are going to praise him and claim that he deserves better etc, he should also be held to a higher standard and more accountability when we lose - especially when he missed two of our better chances on the night. It's pretty obvious at this point that the media are just trying to control the narrative and get the big money move they so clearly want to report on.

That’s all it’s about for them, “Harry Kane and his £200M move to Madrid, EXCLUSIVE”

The week after “Tottenham will always be a selling club”

Halfway through the season “Spurs should have never sold Harry Kane”

They want to get clicks, earn money and the cherry on the cake is the biased twats in the press who are supporters of our rival clubs also get to enjoy watching us fall apart.

I will say this, Kane and Poch are irreplaceable in regards to this side, if we lose either one of them then this entire thing will collapse and we will lose years of progress, I also believe Kane is in a bracket alongside Messi and Ronaldo as things stand and there isn’t a player in world football we could bring in that would replace his input for our side.

People will say “We replaced Bale and Modric” well neither of those two are anywhere near Kane in terms of raw numbers and they also lacked something Harry has, love for this football club.

Whatever it takes to keep him we have to do, it’s that simple really tbh.
