That should of said "
If your being consistent with your thinking then it's you that's saying that"

If I'm an idiot for thinking that this great club I support for many years is worthy of a player like Lloris then yes I am an idiot, that's just a label.

You can insult as much as you like, but it just shows your mentality is that of a child.
You clearly have no reading comprehension. I've not said you're an idiot for thinking Lloris is worthy for us. I think you're an idiot for trying to call me out by saying I'm not worthy of being a Spurs fan in your eyes.

I apologise if my original comment has offended you and this great club so much, admittedly it could be seen as a flippant remark. However I was more concerned about highlighting how good a 'keeper Lloris is rather than 'disrespecting' this great club. I tried to provide reasoning but you then threw it back in my face by saying I'm not worthy of being a Spurs fan and you haven't commented on the subsequent post either so you obviously have no interest in actually discussing the issue. If you were able to take off your Spurs-tinted glasses, you may be able to see that I have genuine reasoning in my argument.

Laughably you say I have the mentality of a child but question my support and call me a sucker, hypocrite.

why cant you understand people will disagree with you?
why cant you understand that when you say something which is disrespectful to the club that others or myself dont like that you do that?
whatever discussion you seem to want to have, i dont want that discussion, because you can not turn me to your way of thinking, what do you want to convince me of ? i read what you said, i dont agree.
Other topics? thats fine. The end...

I can understand a disagreement that's the point of a forum where, believe it or not, you discuss viewpoints.

I'm not just gunna sit here and let you question my support as you see yourself as some kind of superior fan or call me a child when you resort to playground insults yourself.

Agree with L-man.
Of course we are all biased here, but really it does not take a great leap of the imagination to put yourself in Lloris' shoes.
He is a professional with a short shelf life.
He is good enough to play at a CL club, and could win and earn a great deal.

He only owes us one thing, if he doesn't want to trash his reputation, and that is not to play for arsenal.
So far, he hasn't caught the eye of the bigger clubs - I'm not sure why - but long may that continue.

I didnt question your support I questioned how you support. What you call me out for you are doing yourself.

He's up there without a doubt. It's not nonsense to suggest he's one of the best in Europe
I didn't say one of the best I said I wouldn't claim him as the best. But he's pretty close, I think we agree on that. The only part of his game that he could improve to make him the best would be dealing with crosses.

Part of a keeper looking vulnerable to opponents crosses is having a defense in front of them that does not inspire confidence

I think Lloris is as good as any keeper out there - he just plays for a weaker team with a far more disorganised defense than many of his peers who could be considered a rival for the title of best keeper

Neuer is largely considered to be the world's best by pundits but for club and country he plays for the dominant force and he's supported by his defense. This gives him an advantage over Hugo in my opinion (same way a striker playing for a top team that presents them with an abundance of chances has an advantage over Kane who can often be left isolated and starved of guilt edge chances when our creativity is lacking)

We're very lucky to have Hugo and if we're able to keep him a couple more seasons it will be a massive boost to our ability to build a strong team

I think Lloris is joint best sweeper keeper in the world alongside Neuer without a doubt, but as I said he can look a bit shaky on crosses/corners and sometimes punches everything regardless, from time to time not with the best result. Having a shaky defence seeing a keeper perhaps not controlling the air as well as he could can work both ways and make the defence more nervous. I think if Lloris could dominate in the air as well as he does everything else then he'd be arguably Europe's joint no.1. Still think he's world class mind. One things for certain if he went we'd bloody miss him.

Yes it's a two way relationship between defense and keeper

But I think we all know where the weak link in the chain is between keeper and defense in our team

If Lloris had more confidence in his defenses ability to deal with crosses he probably wouldn't feel the need to come and punch as often and he would be more secure and selective with the balls he comes out for, enabling him to make better decisions and only come for crosses when needed or when he knows he has the flight of the ball and an easy opportunity to claim it (leaving the more difficult ones for the defense to tackle while he sets his position in goal for any potential efforts they may come his way)

Even Neuer would look dodgy from time to time playing behind the shower of shit that was our defense (as a unit) last season in my opinion

I know our defence is basically poor and yes this doesn't help, but I don't recall seeing Lloris coming for crosses out of his control area, I was referring more to crosses/corners that most keepers would go for in other teams. He doesn't quite command his area re. aerial balls the way for example De Gea, Hart or Coirtois does, but then he's as good or usually even better than them at other things. If his aerial game matched all other aspects of his game we'd probably be looking at the world's no.1.

There really isn't much to debate over this

If Manure decide to bid,he is gone

Simple as that
A load of bollocks for several reasons.

1. United could bid nowhere near his valuation, so them just deciding to bid doesn't mean he's gone.
2. They could get much cheaper goalkeepers, such as Begovic or Cech, so we would just have to set a very high price to force them to go to other targets
3. Levy won't sell to United anyway.

So not 'Simple as that'

I think so too. If he doesn't go United I have a feeling Arsenal will try for him.

Levy knows that if he sells Lloris to Arsenal then he may as well pack his bags and leave. I could see Hugo being sold to Utd but it'll be for substantially more than De Gea is sold for.

He is talking about Cech.

Lloris will go PSG or nowhere....I think Levy didn't endear himself at all to the fans by selling our big players to both Utd and Madrid at vital times in the club's history and he wont repeat that with Lloris or any other big name players again, so I cant see Lloris being sold to either of those. It will most likely be to PSG and for big money or he stays put for another season.

Lloris today ruled out a PSG move.
