I would disagree with that. The whole team has only let in 20 goals this year. He has also been the main culprit for some of those goals as well.

All keepers make mistakes but what is most worrying is that he seems quite hesitant when coming out (always a big strength of his) and his distribution really does put our players under pressure at times.
How many games has he cost us compared with the outfield players though? I would guess that its a lot less. I think he deserves a lot more support. Dembele went through two or three seasons of inconsistentancy before he hit consistent good form.

If all players were up to his standard is wrong we would of won the league is wrong, his a good keeper, but you cant compare him to ederson, de gea or courtois
I think he's better than De gea but even I go by your opinion, that's only 3 other keepers that are better. We came second last season, it's not to much of a stretch to say if Sissoko, Janssen and GNK were up to his standard, we'd be winning the league and more.

Lloris is performing very well. Very happy with him. He is playing behind a defence that isn't as rock fast and reliable as earlier seasons, but that's not his fault. We could have been unfortunate and had somebody like Curtois, who actually might cost his club top 4 this season in the long run.

Lloris decision making is going through a tough patch. But he saves us way more then he costs us and we need to make sure as fans a support as we should all our players..

Yes he was poor today.
But I've no problem with his shot stopping overall. In fact I think he's one of the best out there.
My problem with him is his distribution and always has been.
Sometimes, no mater how boxed in we are or how under pressure, he just will not fkin clear the ball.
Everytime its in his hands I nip up as I think he's going to throw it out to someone who's marked up, facing him, with no where to bloody go.
And his kicking! Jesus its soooo poor.
BUT... even for all that his shot stopping is fantastic, normally, so I wouldnt swap him for anyone within our grasp at the moment.
That what really frustrates me about him, its the easiest part of the game that is his biggest weakness imo.
If he'd just clear the fkin ball every now and then and managed to a) keep it on the pitch and b) reach over the half way line, it'd improve his overall game 10 fold. Imo.

I think Butland is one of the best in the league. Superb shot stopper and good with his feet and the in form keeper right now.

Bit of a sticky patch at the moment but he will be back to his best soon and everyone will soon forget about his errors.

He’s on a poor run of form, his first really dip since signing, he’s still a great goalkeeper though and he’ll get back to his best.

I'm expecting a lot of hostility but Lloris has gone at the game, once a keeper loses his confidence he rarely if ever gets it back. I'm his biggest fan, comfortably our best keeper since Clem but there are far too many errors, check out the ratio of goals to shots on targets. Love you Hugo you've been amazing but Butland ( or another) will replace you in the summer.

I think he was a bit unfortunate for the second goal, personally. The punch wasn't terrible, and he very nearly saved the resulting shot.

Having said that, the amount of times he kicks the ball out of play is ridiculous. He's also very left footed.

I'm a massive fan of Hugo. He showed loyalty to us..we owe him some. I agree he's having a bit of a duff season (by his standards). For the moment tho I'd vote to stick. That said, I do understand the opposite opinion. Then again, I've been quietly pissed for two days. Happy New Baps Peeps.

I think we have to give Butland serious consideration. He’s obviously very gettable. Next season Arsenal Liverpool possibly chelsea could be after a keeper. Would be a massive call to bin him. But sometimes if you want to progress as a club you have to make these big calls. Good keepers don’t become available very often. If he picks up rest of season then no problem. But if Lloris gets any worse it’s a major worry. Today was first time I found myself verbally abusing him and felt bad for it. But unfortunately there’s no room for sentiment if you want to be the best as pep has shown.
