funny loads of us were saying a few weeks ago how goo he is playing. I think he’s had a bad week but I would still keep him for another year. We need to sort out what’s in front of him.

Robbo always struggled from long shots
I'd love to see the stats for teams who've been in the Premier League since its inception and the number of goals conceded from outside the box.

I'd be surprised if we aren't at the "top."

One which sticks out for me was Luke Young playing for Middlesbrough. Never did it for us or in any match after. Even Carlton Cole scored on the turn with his left foot from 20+ yards!

Lloris is just as capable of making personal errors as our defense, we have seen plenty of that through the years. He's just as much at fault as others.

Loved them both. And the witch hunt for Gomes after the Chelsea "goal " was nothing short of disgraceful.
Tbf he could be just as awful as he could be brilliant. He was not a sustainable keeper if you wanted to push for European places season in season out.

Yes he is a World Cup winner and our captain, but certainly also part of the problem these days. Let no one tell you that he is world-class and that he deserves better at the moment.

Poor today for both goals.
Not sure how he was to blame for the second.
For the first, if he had stepped up to claim that ball, Antonio would have flattened him. He'd still be looking for his teeth. He isn't built for that.
And remember, if he is badly injured, we may be best off putting Dier in goal for the rest of the season, cos the options are dismal.

His position for the second is terrible. Barely off his line and rooted to the near post. He gives Lingard a huge target to hit. As for the first goal, he should have come and punched the ball away and cleaned out the lot of them. If he's not prepared to put his head in where it hurts, then he shouldn't be on the pitch.

He may be a world Cup winner but he's the weakest link in that French team. The French aren't blessed with quality GK's. Areola is a better goalkeeper in my opinion.

A common denominator in most of the bad goals conceded lately, has to be sold this summer and replaced by a keeper who is brave and actually comes out to narrow an angle- Mourinhos GK coach should be given his P45 this afternoon

Please check your facts.
Lloris was one of the reason why France won the World Cup; Ask Alderweireld among others.
Regarding Areola you can ask yourselves why he was not recalled after a few games.
Hopefully he is now in a better form but currently it's Maignan who it the 3rd GK.

I 'm not sure you need to consider him as the common denominator. Many mistakes happened before Liverpool unless because he is indeed the PL GK ...
And in any case he will there as the other players until the end of this season so may be better to be behind them.

It's noticeable (with no stadium noise) how much Hart talks vs Lloris. Our CBs look like they have no idea what Lloris will come for or what he will leave. The keeper has the best view in the house. He should be leaving them in no doubt. He should be bossing the box.
