I believe Hugo’s contract expires summer 2022. As he seems reluctant to sign a new one can we expect him to leave...PSG always a possibility.
Presume we would be looking at keepers already.

Looks very very low on confidence right now.

Hugo was so close to Poch I thought that this might happen once we were further into Jose’s tenure and Hugo’s form would start to slip and his mind would start to wonder to pastures new this summer as ITK have alluded to.

Hope we can win a trophy this season so he can sign off with one, he deserves one as he’s been one hell of a servant for us and at times absolutely world class.

If Hugo no longer wants to be here we should be signing Pope this summer. Only problem is he will likely have an inflated fee if he kills it for England this summer.

Yea, he looks good letting in 4 goals.
I know keeping the ball out of the net is not the priority here though, it's about the distribution right?

Can’t really blame Pope for letting in the goals (marginally at fault for first if being super critical) and made a few good saves

Hugo is staying in his line far too much these days, in general play also but far too much from set plays

He’s been doing that for a while now and it’s not a great sign.

In the last couple of years of Poch’s time he was flapping a fair bit from crosses and displaying a fair few errors of judgement so maybe that’s had an affect on his approach, but end of the day you need a keeper to be able to dominate the box.

Is PSG a possibility? They have a better keeper already

Lloris is just as capable of making personal errors as our defense, we have seen plenty of that through the years. He's just as much at fault as others.

He spreads panic through the defence when he goes on one of his rough patches

I’m sure Hugo has not got weak hands!! He’s one of the best keepers around and has been for many many years

Obviously he’s made a few errors lately and hopefully he can regain the form he’s been showing all season up until a few weeks ago

If it looks like keepers have weak hands it’s more to do with how much the ball moves which makes it much trickier to strike the centre of the ball with 1 hand if you can’t parry it with 2

Put down the crack pipe mate. How is lloris one of the best keepers around?

Lacking confidence atm but until about a month ago was having an excellent season

Has just kept his 100th premiership clean sheet and he’s the best goalkeeper we’ve had since Jennings and then Clemence

Don't understand why there's such clamour for him, is he good? Not watched Burnley unless it's absolutely necessary

He has been bad for a long time with a good 20 game spell in between.
He has been a top keeper for us no question but he has been on a steady decline for a long time now and with one year left on his contract in the summer it’s time to move him on

Everytime Burnley concede it's rarely his fault. Think I remember seeing him male one bad error that lead to a goal but csnt remember the game

The save today he made on Son was world class. Not many could have saved that

how could he be faulted for the first?

He takes out everything in his own six yard box- Lloris just doesn’t.

Pope leading the league for save %, I'd definitely take him in the summer.
