Great news for all. Good luck to Hugo wherever he's off to, he deserves to end his career on the pitch, not in the stands. Would be lovely to give him a proper send off against Bournemouth on NYE. The romantic in me says put him on the bench and give him the last 10 minutes after we've gone 5-0 up, but we might just have to settle for a lap of honour after the final whistle.Rumours are true, he's off

He's the one guy (I don't want to use the term deadwood where he's concerned) I didn't mind hanging around picking up a wage for nothing, at least he earned the right to do so.
Wanted to call my son Hugo after him but the wife wouldn't let me as she has an uncle Hugo she doesn't like. Love the bloke.
EDIT: Criminally overlooked as well, my boy gets MOTD magazine occasionally and they'd do things like "Who's the best GK in London?" votes and wouldn't even put him on it despite putting in West Ham GKs. Used to really get my goat, how many World Cups have you fuckers lifted as captain. Same pricks that push the Spurs Trophy bullshit at any opportunity.

I explained my situation the other day and how info would be far less often from me but I had a catch up with my guy the past couple of days over the festive period and he was told Hugo was basically gone and that was a couple of days back. He had very solid links to Hugo when at the club for a few reasons which I obviously can't go in to.
