Agree. He was about 16 when he tweeted that. We were all hormone crazy idiots when we were 16.

If he apologies then it just draws more attention to it.

Silly words of course but he’s clearly grown up and matured, I really couldn’t care less about those tweets.

Twitter should be deleted in its entirety would be a better move. It’s just a toxic waste of space and time.

There are now 20+ articles from the last two days across the internet. And people say journalistic integrity is dead…

We all knew rival fans will use this as ammunition. The best thing we and Maddison can do is totally ignore it, and for him to not even acknowledge it as well. If journalists bring it up. He just needs to brush it off and say I’m a Tottenham player now and that’s all that matters.

Full video here. Must be pretty cool going to the stadium and having the "Welcome James Maddison" up on the outside of it. You could tell he suddenly thought it was pretty awesome. Other players must be impressed by that kind of welcome to the club.
