That’s a damming testament of our academy. Failure to produce decent talent has been missing for years. This is a major issue.

I don't even think its a failure to produce, more a failure to have a clear pathway into the 1st team.

Edwards, Skipp, Winks (yes even him), White, Tanganga, and for the next few years Scarlett and Devine shows our academy does produce decent players. They don't roll out a Kane or a Ledley every year, but that doesn't mean they don't produce decent, or even good players.

After the injuries he has had and what seems to be a struggle to regain form, would a loan again be good for Skipp?

10 months or so injured at a key point in his development. Always going to take time to recover and find his form.

People have short memories. He was excellent before his injury and is great young player as a DM.
This. But honestly I give up with some of you.

They nurture to many nice neat guys with good attitudes. The mavericks and technicians never seem to flourish here. Hay ho guess it’s our new DNA.

Because Skipp clearly isn't back at the right level yet after his year of, frankly, hell.

It's far too early to just give up on him.
I don't think anyone given up on him as yet however you can still question things .

Would like to see him get a loan second half of the season, to regain match sharpness and confidence. 5th choice at the moment and given that we are under the cosh, I doubt he will get many opportunities short term.

Prem club would be ideal and can't imagine he'd be short of suitors.

Did you get the he's been injured for a year bit?
Are you ok. Are you trolling? Can't you be sensible and have a debate without the wtf and all this childish behaviour.

Anyone following Spurs knows his been injured

Harry Kane was the last real maverick /world class player to come out of any current 10 ten epl academy.
If I could use one word to describe Kane it would definitely be "maverick"
