I can’t tell if this is fake. Yea it’s fake.

Think this was in response to Spurs fans voting for Skipp on Norwich's MOTM polls on twitter, which has been annoying Noriwch fans. A lot of Norwich fans thought Hanley should've won MOTM but it went to Skipp again. Bit annoying from some Spurs fans but it's twitter

I know he's only played a third of the games but I thought I'd compare Skipp to Phillips' last season in the Championship that earned him a call up to see how he is getting on. The only area he has done a lot better than Skipp is in chances created and I understand Phillips is Leeds' main setpiece taker which would account for that.

The area I think Skipp is a lot better is on the ball. His passing is more accurate and
He makes a lot more forward. He also wins more fouls which I forgot to add because he is more elusive and clever on the ball. He is able to slip people pressing him which results in fouls. Which is why Dutch players compared him to Frenkie De Jong.

This is what I think separates Skipp from these English DMs and why I think he's so good and will ultimately prove it in a year or so. Fortuantely for him there isn't a lot of quality he's competing with so with a bit more experience he will be up there soon. His aerial duels are worse for thay very reason id imagine too, inexperience.

Not bad for his first proper season of football

While stats can be deceiving I do like the passing accuracy combined with passes forward. It would be very easy to pass sideways and backwards and be safe, much harder to try and be progressive

really looking forward to having him back in the squad - between them, he and Hojbjerg will ensure we are very strong at DM and give us the platform from which to play to our strengths.

Ye that's why I put that one, think it's an important stat to include. When people post DM stats they always just show pass % which is meaningless, I remember people used to love to post Parker's stats. And the forward passes especially if he is completing more separates him from a standard DM. With confidence it may get better too, also his other stats may improve. They could also get worse if he goes through bad form.

Saw this online. With Norwich top of the championship atm and him starting every game, looks like the loan has worked wonders for his development

There's a #Skippwatch hashtag on Twitter which shows some assorted clips from his most recent performances.

norwich have an absolutely insane amount of injuries at the moment, they couldn't even fill their bench today and five of the six they did have were academy players who'd never played before, max aarons also went off injured late on as well. i doubt skipp would have gotten much time off anyway but they have no choice but to play him 90 minutes every game currently.

Well, if they need more players in January, I'm sure we can loan them one of Cirkin, White or Clarke.
