Do the cards not reset after a certain point? Can’t be far away.
They don't reset as such - 5 cards in the first 19 games is a one match ban, 10 cards in the first 32 matches is a 2 game ban. So take Sarr who is on 4 yellows after 17 games, as long as he avoids a yellow in the next two Prem games, then he won't get a ban unless he gets 6 yellows in games 20 -32 inclusive (13 matches) and he will miss a few of those due to AFCON.

I think Sarr is one booking away from a suspension as well, hopefully he gets it in the Bournemouth game
They would reset for that game so just needs the next 2 games without . It's basically 2nd half season where they're reset (although 10 yellows still carry a suspension).

Thought he was excellent again when he came on. He has a lot to give. Yeah, he's not the same level as Bentancur, but in the Bissouma thread most are scathing about his form anyway so it's probably right PEH gets a run in the team.

Another good cameo yesterday. Some good balls forward and three or four very good interceptions that stopped Everton getting forward. Lo Celso too did well defensively.

Sooner this clogger goes the better. Every time he plays we're ponderous and under the cosh.

Good ball out to Johnson there though.

First goal he doesn't even bother making a tackle. Usual step out and hope someone else deals with it.

I'm fully on the Ange boat, but from what I see so far I don't think he'll bring through much youth, and I don't think we'll win minor competitions (ie what we can win).
Much like previous managers, by design.

The problem is he's not a good ball carrier like Bentancur or Bissouma, nor is he press resistant. Harsh to say he's a plodder because he's served us well, just doesn't really suit what we are trying to do anymore. Good at coming on to keep us in the lead or control games but nothing more than that.

We're better without him every time. He just does nothing good and his mobility is shocking for a pro. He literally stops us playing flowing football. I've hated watching us when he's been in the team and can't wait for him to go.

I agree we're better without him, but it's not exactly his fault he's playing more regularly.

Hope we sell him in Jan. I'd rather give the kids a chance. At least there is a chance of something good happening. We know what we're getting from hojbjerg and its not good.

So an untested kid is going to do better? I get you're frustrated but come on, take a breath. That could end badly for everyone and kill a kids confidence.

I genuinely thought he was our best performer tonight and that's saying something.

Joking me, we were garbage in another game he started. He was abysmal first half big part of the reason we were 3-0 down.

Turned on the fake-warrior shtick when there was nothing left to lose, and did some quite useful things in the last third of the game. Doesn't have the bollocks to play in this system.

Nothing to do with his bollocks. He's a trier. But he doesn't have the skillset for the system

He leaves us so open in the middle. No mobility at all. On the ball can only play or makes himself available when others have beaten the press and made the space for him.

we always tend to struggle when he starts, not saying it’s all on him but think he’s a big reason why we struggle in games
