Yeah from mostly playing in Bayern's B team and he was a young player then.

He's been a consistent starter for a big 6 club for the past 3 seasons.

I very much doubt he's willing to drop down to a midtable side when a club like Atletico is very keen on signing him.

Would absolutely love to be proved wrong though!

To be fair that would be a bitter pill to swallow - going from playing in the CL for us, to being linked with Bayern and Athletico and then ending up at the mighty Fulham.

Palhinha is same age and that role he was playing at Fulham fits PEH perfectly. He might see how Palhinha increased his profile over one season and got a move to Bayern and think he can do similarly.
