May sound weird but I take the news on Todibo as a positive in this instance. No reflection on Todibo (I don’t know anything about him) but I fear the club (DL) would be minded to drag their feet on the Dragusin deal if Todibo looked like a serious possibility and, as we all know, we need a new CB urgently. If Dragusin is now the clear top target then we should move more swiftly.

Great news from Romano! Todibo is incredible on the ball but I prefer Dragusin and his physicality. There's something about him that makes me feel like he will become an absolutely incredible defender.

If we get him in this week do we think he would play against United?
Play.... maybe. Start.... no.

Ange has said in the past that early window signings are preferable so they can get 'up to speed' as soon as possible. Indicating that they'd have some work to do, learning methods, patterns of play, team setup. A sub appearance late on v Utd would be the most I'd hope for. Given that Micky might also be back then too... perhaps also as a Sub.

Does anybody know much about Genoa this season and how they play, so a high line and attacking or the opposite. I watch bits and pieces of Series A but Genoa are not on TV often. He sounds great from what i have been reading but just intrigued how quickly he would adapt if he joins.

Think I read somewhere that they're comparable to Everton under Dyche. Aggressive defensively but they don't try to play out from the back. Which is why his passing stats look terrible, or at least why they should be taken with a pinch of salt.

Agree, similar in summer when we were linked with Van Der Ven and one other, the links went cold with the other and shortly after the VDV deal got done.

Fingers crossed.

Why not, it's what we did with VDV when he signed.
