Not to be too weird but remember that story of Bielsa turning up to a 13 year old Pochettinos house to look at his legs in the middle of the night?

Thats how i feel looking at Dragusin, good pair of legs on him, he is the one.

Athletic article

Tottenham Hotspur are in talks with Italian side Genoa over the signing of Radu Dragusin.

The two clubs are locked in discussions over a potential deal for the 21-year-old centre-back.

A fee has yet to be agreed for the defender but Tottenham are looking to strengthen their squad and have identified Dragusin as a player of interest.

The Athletic has previously reported that centre-back is a priority position for Tottenham during this transfer window, with Dragusin among the names under consideration alongside Lloyd Kelly, Tosin Adarabioyo and Jean-Clair Todibo.

Injuries and suspensions for starting centre-back pairing Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero throughout this season have seen Tottenham head coach Ange Postecoglou use full-backs Ben Davies and Emerson Royal as emergency options, with Eric Dier falling out of favour under the Australian.

Dragusin has been an ever-present for Genoa in Serie A this season, starting all 18 of their league matches as they sit 12th in the table following their promotion in 2022-23.

Born in Romania, Dragusin came through the ranks at Juventus, making his debut under Andrea Pirlo in 2020. He then had temporary spells with Sampdoria and Salernitana in Serie A during the 2021-22 campaign, before dropping down a division and spending the next season on loan at Genoa.

Dragusin played every game of Genoa’s Serie B 2022-23 season as they finished second and won promotion back to Serie A, signing for them permanently during the season.

Dragusin made his senior Romania debut in 2022 and has won 13 caps for his country, helping them secure qualification for Euro 2024 by winning their qualification group.

The rumoured £25m seems remarkably cheap given the hype! So...

- is he over hyped?
- is the reported fee wrong?
- or are we getting a bargain?

Interesting one this, but I'm definitely pleased

Genoa were in Serie B recently. It's a huge amount of money for them, similar to how Vicario's fee was for Empoli.

Paratici seems to stop us having to pay PL tax on fees in Italy.
