Always more ups and downs when we are chasing a player from Italian club. Never confident we'll ever get the player as we usually come out the wrong side of the negotiations but hopefully Don Fabio can help us out

Are there?
Deki and Bentancur went pretty smoothly and to be honest, in our favour, as did Udogie and Vicario.

I think we need to forget the likes of the 70m chasing of Bastoni and Skriniar as I think that may have been more agent and media driven, than actual serious attempts to sign them from our end.

Is this the first "FFS, just pay the money Levy" of the window?
For all we know, we're willing to pay the money, it's just a case of negotiating payments terms and all the fine print that comes along with a big transfer.

We're 5 days into the window, all credible sources seem to suggest this will be done, so let's just relax a bit before we start using "JUST PAY THE MONEY". 👍
Or we could just pay the money?

By all accounts from ITK and Journalists it sounds like the way they want it structured. Probably asking for the 30 million and a big upfront fee, we probably want a little compromise.

Tend to disagree, unless it’s one of the bigger clubs with crazy owners. The mid table and lower Italian clubs are poor and always willing to do a deal for a fair price.

Joor Zah Frul

All these extra words. “Formal official bid.”

Can you even really make a formal unofficial bid?

“Personal terms remain agreed”

Apart from Willian, I don’t recall anyone renegotiating after having agreed a week prior?

I wonder if Dier going Bayern Munich could be a part of the jigsaw? It does create a space for Dragusin!

I think it’s nice, but definitely felt like Sanchez was the one we are replacing with Dragusin. Dier just felt like he was one that needed to go, in general. Poor fit, expensive and not in Ange’s plans.

Great news that he’s starting for Genoa tonight, means he’s not too close to joining Napoli!
