Fifteen seconds in and the combination of the kids voice and the fact that he's about 16 has put me off completely.

Not going to listen to some lad who has no more than 10 pubic hairs tell me anything about football.

I just tried to watch/listen and gave up.

Was going to do a post about how despite his age he's still so much more inciteful than Rory Jennings and how he must be a few years younger blah blah blah. However that has to go on hold and I have to take this thread off topic to express my shock, sadness, outrage and disgust, as after googling it turns out Rory 'the veiny love slug' Jennings is a 40 year old man who holds the opinions that he does. What a fanny!

*Don't worry A&C we will be back on track very shortly. :D

my slight concern with this signing is his ability to play out from the back under pressure, which we do a lot under ange
He's a powerful runner with the ball, though. If he can just push a few yards up the pitch past the press, that's as good as tippy tappy passing around the press.

Brexit had a lot to do with that as English and Scottish teams can no longer pick up young players from Ireland and Scandinavian countries. These players either stay in their domestic leagues or end up predominantly in Italy.
I read an article recently saying that another reason behind it is the Italian government introduced a decreto crescita four years ago which meant any foreigner or Italian working abroad who came to Italy to work would only pay tax on 50% of their income. That is why players like Lukaku and Tammy Abraham were able to join and they could attract managers like Mourinho. The government has ended that now so we will see if Italian clubs are still able to attract these players and if they will continue to be successful in Europe like they have recently.

A good and well balanced post, cheers for that.

Levy did appoint Paratici and Ange and I'll give him credit for that.

I wish he would listen to them more and keep his beak out, as it's cost us so many times over the years.

We should never have been in this position where we were this desperate for the CB depth Ange was asking for last summer.

What infuriates me most is the possibility that the points dropped post Chelsea end up costing us Top 4 or even a championship.

Looking forward however it's fantastic to get Dragusin and the squad is really coming together nicely.

On top of that we've got some truly outstanding talent coming through the academy.

If we can play the next 18 months right then the future could be something really special.

I wish he would listen to them more and keep his beak out, as it's cost us so many times over the years.
So here’s another way of looking at it.
If Levy had kept his beak out a bit more and scrambled a few more players in, would we still be sitting with a slightly above-par Mourinho or a Conte still?
Im firm believer that life is constantly working for us, not against us.
What if we all (Levy included) had to go through that pain and frustration just so that we could arrive at this particular moment, with the lessons we’ve learnt along the way?
Ange is here and there are seismic changes happening.

Yes things may have seemed deeply exasperating at times…but it can take a little time for lessons to be learnt and a few shuffles in and out the door.
Levy is all the better for going through this, slowly but surely relinquishing control of transfers and contracts.
Learning to delegate and have trust in others.
And Spurs are the more stronger and stable because of everything we’ve gone through leading up to this moment now.

Personally, I wouldn’t have had it any other way….because I genuinely think we are now primed for prolonged achievement and success for generations to come ⭐️

Is he going to be primarily a RCB competing with Romero, or does he play LCB too?

AP said in an interview recently that he wasn’t specifically looking for a left or right footed player, but more broadly the right CB for the squad.

He will obviously be more suited to RCB, but don’t see any issues with Romero and Dragusin playing together.
