Partially agree although refs seem to be getting wise to it. Bit like Royal, if he focuses more on the game that’s where he can lift his performances even higher. I don’t think you have many Elite players who consistently do this type of thing (they have the odd moment & obviously some are very “rolly” but the best don’t seem to get this stuck on them).
Would be great if he learns to be a “clever c***” and is more strategic when he does stuff. I hope Conte would help him with that.

I'm excited for Richarlison but also feel Bergwijn has been treated like utter shit the past season. So many comments in here are completely binary. Happy to see him come in if it's what Conte wants, and hope that Stevie absolutely rips it for the rest of his career too

So you think he was excellent under Conte rather than a bit of a bit part one that didn't offer very much outside of a handful of games?

Not one person, myself included, has said Bergwijn is a bad player.

But he hasn't been treated like shit. He hasn't taken his opportunities when he's had them. Kulusevski on the other hand did. Look at what he showed when he was rested v Leicester at home. He turned the game.

Sure Bergwign had a mad 5 minute spell v them away but he scored 1 goal for the rest of the season. I don't buy that he was mistreated. He just wasn't good enough.

Happy with this signing. Don't care about the fee. He's a known product and solid professional, great attitude and if Conte really likes him, then it doesn't matter how much he costs.

I'd rather trust Conte and Paratici over what a players worth, rather than what fans think he's worth.

I've literally just commented about it. Didn't realise I had disagreed/negged you more than once, I'll remove everything and send some heart emojis instead to make you feel better.
And it's nothing to do with making me feel better. If you're going to do it that regularly better off trying to have a discussion

Some fairly strong ITK that Bergwijn wanted out in Jan due to homesickness. Maybe wasn’t doing it in training hence not many minutes on the pitch.
Just seems to be best for all if he moves.
I’m excited too. Richarlison has to be considered an upgrade given his positional flexibility and the fact he’s settled in the league.

I think he's had a distinct lack of game time. Deki got dropped for one game and was then brought on at half time the following game.

I'd have just loved to have seen him get a proper run of games, you can see what a great player he is at international level and I thought some of the 10-15 minute sub appearances he looked really sharp.

Lucas always got the nod before him though, Conte clearly didn't like him and that's fine. Like I said, whatever business we do this summer I'll be happy with, as long as it's what Conte wants.

Richarlison will be a beast for us.
