Love him. What a shame about his dissalowed goal. Just turned 25 too, got so many years to keep improving.

That shot that hit the post was soo good. The goal was too. So unlucky.

Happy to eat humble pie when he plays like that

Work rate, pace, hold up play, skill, passion, can play WF or ST, goals, assists, fan favourite already. What a signing. Worth every penny ?? ⚽️ ?

Played very well. Sons ball into him for the volley made life difficult for him, he reacted well but Son really should have just rolled that into him. Would have been an easy finish.

I just listened to a very interesting piece, (surprisingly on HITC), which says that the media pundit response to Richarlisons showboating highlights something that has become very wrong with the modern game in England.

I don't like how the speaker talks as it's incredibly slow but the points he makes are very valid.

It's the video that is embedded in this article which I can't link for some reason

TLDL: British football has very rich history of revered footballers that quite regularly showboated (George Best, Hoddle, Gascoigne, Stanley Matthews) and was at the time the reason why everyone came to watch but in a time of elite physically tuned athletes it is somehow now considered ungentlemanly.

Historically, British sporting culture hold cheating as the worst act on a field and that explains our views on diving however this is incongruous to our notion of dangerous career ending tackles which of course is also a form of cheating.

Few other points but don't have the time to write them out as kids are jumping on me

Against teams ,maybe other than the top six, and especially at home, I would play yesterday's front 3 with Kulu at RWB.
Conte has transformed the likes of Moses successfully at RWB why not Kulu, which will allow us to play all four, with two holding players and three Ch,s I'm sure we can cover kulu bombing forward against inferior opposition/bus parkers.
Richarlson will be vital, it's no coincidence we played with a different tempo yesterday, he is infectious, and a better footballer than alot give him credit for, very intelligent, and linked up well with all around him.
Can't wait to see him play again, that's what football should be about, excitement, anticipation not dying of boredom....
No chance of that with Richy around.

Been here two months and he’s already a fan favourite, he was excellent yesterday but I still think he will go up a level when he plays a few more games with Kane and Son.

To me he looks like he has world class potential. Only 25. He has it all, absolutely love him. Just need to start scoring 20 goals a season but have no doubt he can and will.

Honestly been surprised by how good he is. Once this team gels with the best personnel in each position it should be awesome.

He probably would if he wasn't playing second fiddle to Kane.

Wasn't especially excited when he signed but have been SO impressed with what I've seen. Is it just me or has he upped his game now that he's made the move?

Pace, tenacity, skill, energy - he's an absolutely fabulous 4th attacking option who adds something completely different to our other main 3 attackers.

Such a shame he didn't score with either the volley or the disallowed one - really deserved a goal yesterday - although his linkup play to assist Hojbjerg was nice for our first.

I am really glad the doubters have been proved wrong. I always rated him and was gutted when he left Watford and went to Everton, as I thought then we missed an opportunity then.

Richarlison has an unfortunate expression and grimace where people read too much into, therefore they misjudge him and his footballing abilities. Glad most of us are behind him now going forward. Worth every penny!
