Loving the creativity of offering players in exchange. As a North American fan, I've never understood why player trades/swaps is not more common.

Wow, Everton want as much as they can get for one of their players, much as we would want Levy to fight for as much as possible for one of ours ?Suspect Everton are hoping for/playing for a price war with Utd, who are also supposedly interested.
I think, in Patrici and Levy, we will have to place our trust on this deal, they know what's available to spend, who AC priorities are and how much we can afford on one particular player, without effecting the purchases of others.
Really hope when I see 10 pages to be read it's better reading than this thread today.

I think it's just rare to have players who each want to move the opposite direction in football

It's no different in North America, players don't want to be traded from winning teams to losing ones. But they do it regardless. I wonder why the culture is different. Anyway, off-topic I know. I'll stop.

Richarlison! Good player. Hope we can get something done.

I'd be quite happy with Richarlison as a Moura replacement provided that we also replace Bergwijn with a quality signing.

Richarlison has the makings of a very useful squad player. He underperforms his xG, indicating that he's a below-average finisher, but despite that he still possesses a lot of good qualities. He's a workhorse, he can slot in across the front three, he proved his mettle in Everton's relegation scrap, and as Jose would say he's an intelligent ****. It's easy to see where he fits in in a Conte side that will be competing on four fronts.

I do think that the prices quoted would represent paying over the odds for a squad player, but then if Everton are willing to pay over the odds for Winks and Lucas, we'd be getting fair value in the end.

I reckon we would be willing to structure the deal in a way that helps Everton with their cash flow issues, paying a bit up front for Richarlison and back-loading the fees for Winks and Lucas, possibly restructuring the bonuses in the deal for Dele as well, providing Everton with the breathing space they need to weather the financial storm they face. Definitely feels like there's a deal to be done that would suit all parties.

99% of the time, players can't say no or veto a trade.

Good thing about shifting Lucas as part of the deal is that we’d almost certainly go for another attacker since Bergwijn is hellbent on going.

We are interested in Richarlision , however there's many more attackers we like too Antony at ajax is one . They want a deal closed quickly to pursue there targets and raise cash .Not at there price currently though clubs monitoring the situation.
Anthony is an absolute baller but Richarlison ticks a lot of boxes also. Both would be great options

Don't mind either way on Lucas.

Good squad player but if it helped us get this over line (and obviously Winks) I'd be all for it.

Maybe not if we get Eriksen and Richarlison, they may see enough in 5 to cover the front 3 and when we replace Winks we'll have depth to switch to 352 at times
Also Perisic can push up to the attacking 3 so I can see logic if they decide to sell Moura

Yeh interesting. As you said, it depends on how they see Perisic. We would need an Eriksen/Paqueta/Maddison type though for sure. As much as I'd like Gil to stay with the squad next season, I doubt Conte thinks he's ready so it would be Richarlison Son Kane Kulu for 4 competitions which is not enough as 1 injury would leave us with 0 attackers on the bench. I can imagine we go for someone like Cornet as a 5th option maybe.

You could chuck peresic up top If the worst were to happen. I also think we'll buy Traore. Based on nothing just a hunch
